Retreats & Events

Retreats and events offer opportunities for you to step out of your daily routine to relax, rejuvenate, empower and learn new skills and tools to bring back to your daily life. Nancy creates a collective safe space for people to go deep and heal and explore aspects of themselves that they might not have the time or opportunity to in their everyday life...and have a little fun along the way!

Onsite retreats are offered at Linwood Spiritual Retreat Center in February, May, July, and October.

“The “Yoga, Pray, and Play retreat” is a fulfilling and spiritual experience. I shared yoga, life experiences and the beautiful, sacred grounds of Linwood with a group of like-minded women. I left with more focus and clarity, which will facilitate my desire for better self-care and living a more purposeful life.”

- Jeanette S.

“This was my first Yoga Retreat and did not know what to expect. With Nancy’s knowledge, patience, guidance, and understanding, it was an experience of calming peacefulness I will carry with me always! Thank You Nancy!”

“I gained so much  from this retreat. I felt like a dry sponge that was given water. It was a life changing day and it brought peace. It was a jump start for my soul.”

-Jane Braselton

“The companionship during these particularly challenging days spent "physically apart" was a balm to my spirit and brought cheer to my heart and soul.”

-Vanessa Lazzaro

“A Day To Reflect, Play and Move

On our first online retreat I felt such a sense of community as we gathered together in our virtual yoga circle! It was a great day that allowed me to eradicate all the external noise that was cluttering my mind & heart. I felt challenged by Nancy, as usual with her thought provoking questions and Karen's yoga session transported me back to Linwood!  The whole day flowed smoothly with times to share as a whole and in small groups. There was also time for reflection and time to be playful. As women we came together sharing our similarities and differences!”

I was excited to have an online experience with my friends in the Yoga, Pray & Play community. It’s an unusual way to experience a retreat but I felt comfortable and engaged and the day had a nice structure and flow. With Nancy and Karen's guidance, support and warm virtual embrace, I wasn't surprised it all went so smoothly. We were well prepared with tips and suggestions prior to the day to help make the most of the experience and after intros and hellos we started with a grounding exercise exploring the question of what we wanted out of the day. The themes and readings provided an opportunity to be introspective, reflect, journal, and share with others. The breaks worked well and the restorative yoga class was amazing. And, while I missed being at Linwood, the connection, openness and love of the group provided a nurturing space that felt familiar and safe. The day was incredibly nourishing for me. It was said by a few and I agree- the day was the best day I've had in quarantine and I'm so looking forward to the next one!”
